William Trower, John Geering and Thomas Holman (otherwise Thomas Homan) found guilty on an indictment for aiding and abetting the murder of Michael Ball by shooting him in the right side of his head, in the parish of Goring on 14th January 1744, so that he died on 17th January.  They were ordered for execution on Saturday, 19 August (but reprieved on 14 December 1750).
